Equus Marketing Pty Ltd, based in Melbourne, Victoria, specialises in promoting racing and producing racing related products.

Its expertise ranges from writing books, film scripts and articles about racing to producing memorabilia.

Formed by well-known racing identity Rhett Kirkwood and his wife Lyn, the company has world rights to the reproduction of the race finishes by the immortal Phar Lap. This has resulted in the production of books and various pictures about Phar Lap by the company.

The company also sourced film of the full running of the 1930 Melbourne Cup won by Phar Lap - believed to be the only full length copy of this film in existence. This vision was used in the DVD Phar Lap - the People's Champion, which was co-produced by Equus Marketing.

Other products involving the company are books on the history of the W. S. Cox Plate, known as Australasia's weight-for-age championship, and on the Melbourne Cup.

Due to its exclusive rights to Phar Lap images, Equus Marketing also produces various posters, postcards and calendars featuring Phar Lap.
